Wizkid Made Me Popular After Struggling From 2003 - Terry Apala

Wizkid and Terry Apala

Nigerian music sensation Wizkid has long been known for his talent and generosity in the music industry. Over the years, he has collaborated with numerous artists and helped launch the careers of many up-and-coming musicians. One such artist who has benefited from Wizkid's support is Terry Apala.

Terry Apala, a talented musician who has been in the music industry since 2003, recently spoke out about the impact that Wizkid has had on his career. In a recent interview, Terry Apala revealed that it was only after Wizkid gave him a free verse this year that his music career truly started to take off.

"If you want to count the people Wizkid has helped, put my name on the top of the list so everyone can see," Terry Apala said. "I started music since 2003 but it's only after Wizkid gave me a free verse this year that it started paying off."

This statement highlights the immense impact that Wizkid has had on Terry Apala's career. By providing him with a free verse, Wizkid not only helped to elevate Terry Apala's music but also gave him the exposure and recognition needed to succeed in the competitive music industry.

Wizkid's willingness to support and uplift other artists is a testament to his generosity and commitment to helping others succeed. His collaborations with emerging artists like Terry Apala showcase his dedication to nurturing talent and giving back to the music community.

As Terry Apala continues to make waves in the music industry, it is clear that Wizkid's support has played a crucial role in his success. By recognizing the impact that Wizkid has had on his career, Terry Apala is not only showing his gratitude but also highlighting the importance of supporting and uplifting fellow artists in the industry.

His Words

"There are some kind of artistes who won't give you money but will instead show you how to make money. After Wizkid gave me a free verse on "Apala Disco", he linked me up with Olamide. And just like 2-weeks ago, Olamide and I were chatting on WhatsApp and he said I should send him songs that I feel like he should drop a verse. Just like that! I just believe this whole thing is happening at the right time and all this couldn't have been possible without Wizkid. If you were to spend N50-million to promote your song and Wizkid is involved you don't need to spend anything again. Wizkid's effect is just too much, he's very influential. When you make a song with Wizkid, just drop it and the next thing, show organizers will start coming for you and paying any amount without you even hyping yourself. The little money I've spent on PR since I released "Apala Disco" is based on generosity. I started music since 2003 but it's only after Wizkid gave me a verse this year that it started paying õff. I am very grateful to Wizkid."

In conclusion, Wizkid's support of Terry Apala serves as a powerful example of the positive impact that artists can have on each other's careers. By giving back and helping others succeed, Wizkid is not only shaping the future of the music industry but also creating a legacy of generosity and support that will continue to inspire artists for years to come.
